391And He came out and proceeded2as was His custom to 3the Mount of Olives; and the disciplesalsofollowed Him.

4When He arrived at the place, He said to them, "5Pray that you may not enter into temptation."

And He withdrew from them about a stone'sthrow, and He 6knelt*down* and began to pray,

saying, "Father, if You are willing, removethis7cup from Me; 8yet not My will, but Yours be done."
43
Now an 9angel from heavenappeared to Him, strengthening Him.
44
And 10being in agony He was prayingveryfervently; and His sweatbecamelikedrops of blood, fallingdown upon the ground.
45
When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow,
46
and said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Get up and 11pray that you may not enter into temptation."
Jesus Betrayed by Judas
4712While He was stillspeaking, behold, a crowd came, and the one calledJudas, one of the twelve, was preceding them; and he approachedJesus to kiss Him.

But Jesussaid to him, "Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?"

When thosewho were around Him saw what was going to happen, they said, "Lord, shall we strike with the 13sword?"

And one of them struck the slave of the highpriest and cutoff his rightear.
51
But Jesusanswered and said, "Stop! Nomore of this." And He touched his ear and healed him.

ThenJesussaid to the chiefpriests and 14officers of the temple and elders who had comeagainst Him, "Have you come out with swords and clubs15as you would against a robber?
53
"While I was with you daily* in the temple, you did not layhands on Me; but thishour and the power of darkness are yours."
